Although students from the Ohio State side didn’t experience a loss in self-esteem, their moods were dampened.

A survey of 2,000 self-identified sports fanatics examined the lengths fans are willing to go to in order to see their favorite teams play live. The survey ultimately found that the average sports fan is willing to travel an average of five hours and 48 minutes and spend over $750 for tickets to watch their team play in person. Seems like a terrific way to take in a Phillies game while simultaneously getting to know the magnificent American city of Philadelphia.
