JUST NOW: a key man for parker was arrested………

A Green Bay Packers player was detained after reportedly threatening to blow up an airport.

According to authorities, a Green Bay Packers player was detained after he reportedly made a bogus bomb threat at LAX airport.

Wide receiver Trevor Davis, who was accompanied by a lady, was questioned routinely by an agent at the Hawaiian Airlines ticket desk on Sunday morning. The official inquired as to whether Davis had brought any aerosols, pyrotechnics, or other potentially harmful objects. According to airport police spokesperson Rob Pedregon, who spoke with ABC News, Davis answered “yes” and then “turned to the female companion and said, ‘Did you pack the explosives?'”

Pedregon stated, “That comment led to his arrest for creating a fake bomb threat, a misdemeanour.”

According to Pedregon, Davis, 24, said he was kidding when he apologised to the responding police, but the ticket agent stated she believed he was genuine.

The NFL player’s court date is set on May 3.

The Packers made the following statement in a statement on Monday: “The Packers are aware of the Trevor Davis situation. Since this is a continuing legal situation, we will hold off on making any additional comments while we gather more facts.”

Davis cannot be reached by ABC News.

The airport police spokesperson, Pedregon, stated, “You don’t talk about explosives at an airport and you don’t yell fire in a theatre.” People feel anxious when they travel as it is.”

There is an arrest for making a fake bomb threat there around once every several months, according to Pedregon.
