The two officers, one male and one female, from Columbus Police turned up at the door of a father at midnight last week, six hours after he called them.

He posted on TikTok, expressing his hope that they would be able to talk to his daughter—who was by that point in bed—and caution her about the risks associated with online predators.

The father, who chose a generic profile title and did not reveal his name, wrote: ‘My daughter was a victim [of] a online predator.

‘She’s 11 he’s a grown man. He manipulated her into sending pictures of herself. When we called at six, this was the police response at midnight.

But the dad was stunned when he was told that the youngster was herself at risk of criminal charges.

His young daughter “could probably get charged with child porn if she found to have produced the images,” the female police officer was overheard telling him.

On Sept. 22, police were dispatched to a call about an assault that had taken place the day before.

The officer was met by the caller, who had difficulty telling her story. She eventually disclosed that the day before, she was waiting for a bus on Broadview Road in Seven Hills. A man smoking a cigarette was also waiting in the bus shelter.

The woman, who has lung cancer, got up and waited outside to avoid the cigarette smoke.

That’s when a woman with a small baby pulled up in a gray Kia and started yelling at the man. He left the bus shelter and followed the caller around, still smoking a cigarette.

She asked him to stop for upward of five minutes before the man took the baby and asked the other woman to “take care” of the caller.

The mother then hit the caller numerous times in the face. She nearly fell into oncoming traffic on Broadview Road.

Eventually, the couple left.

Using license plate-reading cameras, the officer located the Kia and talked to the woman, who denied being at the scene.

However, a nearby Broadview Road bar’s surveillance footage captured the incident.

The Parma woman, who was issued a warrant, was arrested less than a week later for assault.
