It is a real battle: Devin Brown Refutes, Ready to Tackle Five-Way Competition Head-On

Additionally, some members of the fan base and social media community have already written Devin Brown and Lincoln Kienholz out of the race despite their prior familiarity with the program. So much so that baseless reports have started to circulate that, given the incoming competition, either Brown or Kienholz, or both, would decide to transfer.

But Brown has seen those rumors as personal. Associated content “People have this idea in their heads that I’m going to leave and I’m a quitter, but that’s never been me,” Brown remarked. “I think people are cowards.” “These individuals don’t know (crap) that they live in their mother’s basement and are saying things about me.

They have no knowledge at all. They have no idea who I am or who I have been in the past, and that has always been me.” Brown is accustomed to competition, having faced off against Kyle McCord in the spring and autumn of last year for the starting position in 2023 and just missing out.

He did ultimately receive his opportunity against Missouri in the Cotton Bowl, but sadly, it was fleeting as Brown was injured very early in the contest.

Related: Why did Marvin Harrison Jr., a star for the Buckeyes, not speak at the combine? Brown will likely have challenges, considering the way the season concluded and the decision by head coach Ryan Day to add not one, not two, but three new quarterbacks to the squad.

Having said that, Brown made it quite evident that he would fight to the very end to be granted the opportunity.
