The wide receiver for Ohio State has changed his mind and refused to leave the program.

 

The last several days have seen some fantastic news for Ohio State football, and this trend continued on Saturday morning.

Wide receiver Brandon Rodgers registered on the transfer portal, but after weighing his alternatives, he concluded that staying in Columbus and continuing to be a Buckeye was in his best interest.

It appeared very much as though

was planning to transfer to a school nearer to his home in Florida, but on Friday, he went to see the Florida Gators and realized that the grass wasn’t greener on the other side. Although he hasn’t had much of an impact on the field yet, having him return adds depth for the future.

Ohio State is expected to have a successful 2024 season because several of the players who were on the verge of leaving the team decided to stay. Rodgers is another Buckeye who wants to try to qualify for the expanded college football playoffs.
