LIVE UPDATES: Marvin Harrison Jr. Scores Again, No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes Extends Lead on Michigan State Spartans 14-0

Big play, injury, and scoring updates from Saturday’s Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Michigan State Spartans game at Ohio Stadium are provided below.

The No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes host the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday for their first home game since October 21.

The Buckeyes have been on the road each of the last two weekends, securing wins against the Wisconsin Badgers (24-10) and Rutgers Scarlet Knights (35-16) to maintain their undefeated record.

Ohio State is a perfect 9-0 going into their contest against Michigan State, boasting wins against two, top-ten teams so far through the regular season.

In their last home game in “The ‘Shoe,” the Buckeyes defeated the then-No. 7 Penn State Nittany Lions 20-12 after defeating the then-No. 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish 17-14 on September 23 in South Bend, Indiana.

The Scarlet and Gray are 36-15 all-time against the Green and White in a series that dates back to November 28, 1912. Michigan State won that game (35-20) and the next two after that in 1951 (24-20) and 1953 (28-13), all of which were played in Columbus, Ohio.

However, Ohio State has triumphed in each of the last seven presentations of the annual series starting on November 19, 2016. The Buckeyes have outscored the Spartans 265-75 over that time.

Ohio State prevailed in last year’s game against Michigan State, which took place on October 8, 2022 at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. Then-starting quarterback C.J. Stroud’s 81% completion percentage (21-of-26) was good for six Buckeyes touchdowns in the 49-20 win, along with 361 yards and an interception.

Kick-off between Ohio State and Michigan State is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Ohio Stadium. Live coverage of the game will air nationwide on NBC.
