No. 15 Texas A&M (2-0) defeated Ohio State (1-1) in a back-and-forth battle with over 15 lead changes before the Aggies closed the game out late for a 73-66 victory.

Until tonight, the Aggies had not earned a Quad-1 victory in non-conference play under fifth-year head coach Buzz Williams. A Big 10 road victory on any given year deserves recognition come Tournament time.

When making the schedule, these are the types of non-conference games Buzz Williams wanted to get. Playing hard early in the season against established basketball powerhouses will surely pay off when SEC Play gets underway.

Below are the Aggie critical contributors from the game:

Wade Taylor IV: 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists

Tyrece Radford: 21 points / 5 rebounds

Henry Coleman: 2 assists, 11 rebounds, and 20 points

Andersson Garica: 4 points / 13 rebounds

Texas A&M’s next game is scheduled for November 14 at 7 p.m. at Moody Coliseum in Dallas, Texas, against SMU.
