According to Soccernet, Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis will sign a season-long loan agreement with Istanbul Basaksehir of the Turkish Super Lig.
Dennis moved from Watford to Nottingham Forest last season after a campaign in which he made 37 appearances and scored ten goals and six assists.
He did, however, only make 25 appearances for the team, the most of which were as a substitute. The former Club Brugge player’s performance did not especially please coach Steve Cooper, and he gradually lost prominence within the team.
The 25-year-old attacker was viewed as unnecessary by the team going into the new season.
Dennis has been mentioned in transfer rumors this summer, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, the fact that he hasn’t appeared in a game this season has increased rumors of his leaving.
The Super Eagles player has previously been linked to a move to Basaksehir of Turkey’s top division. Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, has finally approved the transaction.
Dennis will move to Nottingham Forest on a loan for the entire season. However, his contract does not have a buy-out provision.
It’s possible that Dennis will stay with Nottingham Forest for the upcoming campaign if he performs well.
