Emmanuel Dennis is about to depart Nottingham Forest because he hasn’t been called up to the substitutes’ bench this year and has slipped farther down the hierarchy.
Emmanuel Dennis, a forward for Nottingham Forest and the Super Eagles, is apparently planning to go to Turkey, with Adana Demirspor and Istanbul Basaksehir being two probable cities, according to sportheadline.co.uk.
The attacker was apparently interested in moving from England to Saudi Arabia, but he decided to remain playing football in Europe.
The 5-foot-9-inch Nigerian attracted interest from Italian clubs Udinese and Ademola Lookman’s Atalanta, but according to Fabrizio Romano, Emmanuel Dennis has chosen to play in Turkey and will leave Nottingham Forest.
Now that Adana Demirspor and Istanbul Basaksehir have submitted loan bids that will pay Dennis’s whole appearance fees and wages throughout the period he will spend in Turkey, Dennis must decide which clubs to join.
Dennis moved to Nottingham Forest from Watford in August 2022, making 25 appearances while contributing just two goals to the team.
The 25-year-old’s most memorable professional moment occurred when playing for Club Brugge versus Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, when he scored and performed Cristiano Ronaldo’s well-known siu goal celebration.
He played for FC Koln, Watford, and Nottingham Forest before scoring 29 goals in one hundred and sixteen appearances for the Belgian teams.
Towards the end of last season, Dennis struggled for playing time, getting just eighteen minutes of football in Forest’s last five games, and it’s no surprise to see the attacker linked with a move away from the club.
