The Football Association (FA) handed down a suspended five-month sentence to Nottingham Forest’s Harry Toffolo on Wednesday for breaking betting rules.
The FA announced in a statement that Toffolo was given the suspended sentence “until the end of the 2024 season and fined £20,956 ($26,177) for misconduct under our betting rules.”
The English left-back committed the offenses between 2014 and 2017, according to the report, and an independent Regulatory Commission sanctioned him after a hearing.
The 28-year-old assisted in 21 games for Nottingham Forest.
