BREAKING NEWS: Newcastle United quartet Sandro Tonali blow confirmed as calls made regarding £98m

Prior to the games on Tuesday night, some significant decisions regarding Newcastle United’s international players have been made.

In place of Callum Wilson, Kieran Trippier starts at left back for England against Scotland. The game commemorates the first international meeting between the two countries, which took place 150 years ago.

Ramsdale; Walker; Dunk; Guehi; Trippier; Rice; Phillips; Bellingham; Rashford; Kane; and Foden make up the England XI.

Alternates: Colwill, Maddison, Gallagher, Pickford, Wilson, Nketiah, Johnstone, Henderson, Maguire, Tomori, Saka, Eze

Sandro Tonali, meantime, was not included in the Italy team to play Ukraine in the Euro 2024 qualifier on Tuesday night because he sustained a muscular injury during the weekend match against North Macedonia. The midfielder will be evaluated when he gets back to Newcastle, although the problem is not believed to be significant.

While Fabian Schar was listed on the bench for Switzerland’s qualifying match against Andorra, Alexander Isak started once more for Sweden in their Euro 2024 qualification match against Austria.

Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes are scheduled to play for Brazil against Peru at 3 a.m. BST, and Miguel Almiron will be hoping to be cleared to play for Paraguay against Venezuela at 11 p.m. BST.
