Despite stating that he is “happy” at Juventus, Adrien Rabiot has not ruled out leaving the team to join another one.

AHEAD OF TIME?The 28-year-old midfielder’s planned move to Old Trafford collapsed last summer due to financial demands. He was supposed to be the answer to Manchester United’s ongoing problems in the midfield. Rabiot ultimately inked a new contract with his current squad after failing to reach an agreement.

But his contract only lasts for eight months more. Despite his unclear future and rumours of a move to Manchester United, Rabiot will be free to negotiate a pre-transfer deal with teams outside of Italy beginning in January. As things stand, though, the former PSG midfielder has no intention of leaving Turin.Prior to Newcastle United signing Sandro Tonali, he was also connected to them.

WHAT IT SAYS:Rabiot stated, “This is a club where I am happy and we are having a very good season,” to French publication Telefoot (via Manchester Evening News). In the season leading up to the European Championship, staying with a team I was familiar with seemed like the ideal choice.”
