Giants’ As per Brian Daboll, Tommy DeVito will start against the Eagles

Tommy DeVito, the rookie quarterback for the New York Giants, was not as magical against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, losing 24-6.
Like his opponents earlier in the season, DeVito was unable to generate any momentum in Week 15. Along the way, he was hit nine times, sacked seven times, and had several injuries. He also injured his ankle and had a concussion evaluated.
The rushing game was nonexistent, his receivers were missing passes left and right, and the offensive line had reverted to its Swiss cheese form, unable to even pick up a basic stunt, so DeVito had no support from those around him.
Mike Kafka, the offensive coordinator, had a bland and dull game plan that was poorly implemented. When you factor in the late fines, DeVito received the Daniel Jones treatment.
“They performed admirably. They were successful in stopping the run and covering passes. I believe that the two of drips we put out there early may have been helpful. After the game, head coach Brian Daboll stated, “Overall, (it was) not good enough.”
In contrast to previous Monday night when the Green Bay Packers were defeated, DeVito was unable to evade the pressure. He really didn’t know where to flee since it was coming from every direction.
“I believe that it is distinct. Every game has a particular surge, according to Daboll. Each game varies somewhat from the others. As I already stated, it is insufficient in every aspect.
Daboll stated there won’t be any changes at quarterback despite the dismal performance. On Christmas Day, DeVito is expected to start against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The coach said, “Yep,” when asked if DeVito would start. Indeed.
Of course, it may change, but it shouldn’t. Assuming DeVito is well enough to play, the Giants should make sure he gets as much playing time as possible. He has earned the position for the balance of the season.
