Wolverines-Terrapins Big Ten game
Michigan defeated Maryland 31–24 to win its 1,000th game.
The Wolverines scored goals on special teams, defense, and practically every other avenue. Mike Barrett caused a fumble for a scoop and score, Mike Sainristil picked off Tagovailoa twice, and Michigan gained two safeties—including one on a blocked punt—to win.

Michigan took a commanding lead right away, leading 23-3 at the half. However, the Terrapins avenged themselves in the third quarter, scoring 14 points to tie the season high for points against the Wolverines in that quarter.
Billy Edwards led the Wolverines to victory in the fourth quarter by keeping Maryland off the scoreboard, despite Edwards’ three touchdowns on the “Tush Push” play.
