Despite claims that they may have violated FIFA rules in how they handled Jadon Sancho, Manchester United is convinced they have done legally.
Since a disagreement with manager Erik ten Hag, who benched Sancho from a Premier League match against Arsenal in August and publicly criticized the youngster’s performance in training, the teenager has been instructed to train alone.
The footballer responded by writing a statement on social media alleging that he had been used as a “scapegoat” at Manchester United. The post was eventually removed, and Sancho later cancelled his Instagram account.
He has been instructed to train separately from Man Utd’s first-team players in the interim, and he is not even permitted to use the canteen’s dressing room. These sanctions, according to ESPN, may be considered “abusive conduct” and may potentially be in violation of both FIFA rules and UK employment law.
However, the Red Devils “are confident that they have taken specific measures to ensure they remain on the right side of the rules,” according to The Express.
United believes that by assigning coaches to work closely with the athlete, they have found a way to get around this issue while still maintaining the player’s high level of training.

You can move on very quickly if you have concerns about a player, he is not training properly, and he does turn around and display some humility by saying, Maybe I got it wrong.
We’ve been in locker rooms when players have in and said, ‘Sorry boys, I made a mistake,’ and it is quickly forgotten about.
Football locker rooms have an odd dynamic; as long as a player demonstrates concern and humanity, everything is great. We make quick progress.
Manchester United will play Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday after playing Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday. Both games will take place at Old Trafford.
