Next year, a Celtic player wants to depart permanently.

Celtic's dreamers are defeated by Real Madrid on a Champions League night where anything felt possible

At the moment, Celtic have a sizable squad. They have many alternatives across the pitch, yet there are several positions where they may use additional high-caliber reinforcements. As a result, several players found it difficult to secure regular playing time. While some have temporarily left the club in quest of playing time, others are still there.Sead Haksabamovic was one of the players that departed on loan during the summer. During the summer of 2022, he was hired.

To be fair to Haksabanovic, he did shown moments of genius upon his arrival and even took home the Player of the Month award in November of last year. He didn’t have many chances in the second half of the season since the World Cup break coincided with the incorrect moment for him.

Haksabanovic is currently on loan with English Championship team Stoke City. He is making an impact there, too.

Celtic player wants to leave permanently next year

According to Football Insider, Haksabanovic wants to agree to a long-term departure from Celtic the next year. Either in January or the summer of 2014, he hopes to negotiate a departure.

What Haksabanovic’s future holds is yet uncertain. But given that he has had a promising start at Stoke City, it is extremely likely that the English team would want to sign him permanently in the future if he keeps up his current form.

Even though Haksabanovic didn’t play much for Celtic, his skill was undeniable. He simply didn’t feel like he belonged in Ange Postecoglou’s system. He may have played a greater part this season if he had stayed, but he opted to go out on loan.
