West Bromwich Albion are trying to keep hold of forward Tom Fellows amid mounting interest from Championship rivals Leicester City and Southampton.

The highly rated 20-year old is out of contract at the end of the season and Albion are keen to get him to sign new terms.

Fellows has been at the club from Under 10 level and has impressed in their youth sides and Premier League 2 as he progressed through the ranks.He spent last season on loan at Crawley Town and has been figuring in the first team set up under coach Carlos Corberan.

The prospective new owners of Albion have already expressed their desire for Fellows to remain, but Leicester and Southampton are keeping an eye on developments in advance of January because they see an opportunity to sign a young, versatile player with promise.

Having risen through the club’s academy, the 20-year-old has been featuring in the first-team set up under boss Carlos Corberan

Albion is currently in sixth place in the Championship, one point behind Southampton, whom they play on Saturday, and thirteen behind leaders Leicester. Fellows has made six appearances this season, most of them coming off the bench.
