Tekkz declares, “I want to win the ePremier League with City.”
For the 2023–2024 season, the 22-year-old has joined City Esports, where he will play with fellow newcomer Matias Bonanno under the direction of head coach Edu Castellano.
Known by his stage name Tekkz, Hunt has been an esports representative for Fnatic for the last four years.
Tekkz began his professional career in 2018 with The F2, making his tournament debut at the 2018 FUT Champions Cup. He later joined the EU franchise.
During his brief tenure at KiNG Esports, where he competed in the 2019 FIFA eClub World Cup, Tekkz was a member of The F2. Tekkz won the coveted prize after putting up outstanding performances throughout the competition.
Hunt kept getting better and better, and in 2019 he won the ePremier League in his first season there.
Tekkz’s 11 tournament victories included one of his greatest career achievements: winning the 2020 eChampions League Invitational.
Hunt has enjoyed equal success on the international front since he started playing for England in 2021. He finished first in the FIFAe Nations Cup 2021 EU Qualifiers while playing for the Three Lions.
Now, in an attempt to make history, Hunt and Man City Esports want to be the first Pro Player and organisation to win two ePremier League championships.
