After the University of Bedfordshire announced that it is the official education partner of Luton Town Football Club, students there would have greater options for professional development.
Despite having a long-standing association, this new arrangement will increase the opportunities for students enrolled in sports-related courses to gain work experience with the Premier League team. Students in the fields of sports, business, and media will be given the opportunity to visit the training facility of Luton Town FC, and those enrolled in programs like the BSc Sport Coaching Science will receive tickets to home games. These encounters are supposed to have given them an understanding of the inner workings of a Premier League soccer team.
