Rams add WR Tyler Johnson and K Brett Maher to their active roster.
The Los Angeles Rams made two more roster changes later in the day on Tuesday after making three on the afternoon.
Kicker Brett Maher was officially signed by them, a move that Sean McVay had hinted at during his Monday press conference.
Additionally, Tyler Johnson was promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster by the Rams. That may be a sign that they intend to rest a couple of their wide receivers in Week 18, particularly Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, who have had injuries all season.
Johnson hasn’t played in a game since joining the Rams, but if Los Angeles decides to restrict Nacua and Kupp’s snap counts, he might be added to the game day roster on Sunday when they take on the 49ers.
