Liverpool have agreed a £34million fee to sign Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich, talkSPORT understands.
The Dutch midfielder is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Anfield before the transfer window closes on Friday.
Gravenberch had previously made agreements with the Reds and was eager to relocate after failing to find a home in Munich.
The 21-year-old joined the Bundesliga giants from Ajax in a £16 million transfer last summer, but he only started six games, with the rest of his 28 appearances coming from the bench.
That is unlikely to be the case at Liverpool, where Jurgen Klopp is overhauling the midfield during the summer transfer window.
Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and James Milner all left, while Alexis MacAllister arrived from Brighton, Dominik Szoboszlai arrived from Leipzig, and Wataru Endo arrived from Stuttgart.

Endo is presently the team’s only specialized defensive midfielder, however Gravenberch can also fill the role, but he is more adapt at playing an attacking midfield role.
Gravenberch will be Liverpool’s fourth acquisition of the season, with all four arriving in the midfield.
