Postecoglou says that as a youngster, he cheered for Tottenham’s Premier League opponents.

Ange Postecoglou has said that he cheered for Liverpool when watching soccer while growing up in Australia.

Since taking over at Tottenham in the summer, Postecoglou has had a significant influence, winning over both Spurs supporters and unbiased observers.

The 58-year-old’s constant commitment to a possession-based, front-foot strategy and his popularity among many people have enabled him to do so.

Postecoglou admitted that, although growing up in a different country, he fell in love with English football at an early age and that Bill Shankley’s Liverpool team particularly captivated his attention.
