“We are not deaf”: Jurgen Klopp’s insightful remarks on Jadon Sancho have surfaced amid bitter Erik ten Hag fallout,”

The player’s continuing dispute with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has led to the resurfacing of Jurgen Klopp’s remarks about Jadon Sancho.

As a result of his exclusion from United’s lineup for their September 3 loss to Arsenal (3-1), Sancho said he had been made the “scapegoat” and is now practising separately from the first team.

Ten Hag said at the time that his performance in training had fallen short of expectations; the 23-year-old winger fiercely denied this claim in a social media post that he later deleted.

According to a story in the Mirror, Sancho has been banned from all first-team areas at United, including the team eating area, and his colleagues have pleaded with him to apologize and put an end to his spat with Ten Hag.

Sancho’s future at United is also in question as he has been linked to moves to Saudi Arabia, Borussia Dortmund, and a number of Premier League teams.

However, it’s unlikely that a move to Liverpool is being considered.

Although Klopp has previously acknowledged the winger’s abilities, he has often emphasized that the player has always been too pricey for Liverpool.

Speaking on Sancho in 2019, when the player was starring for Dortmund in the Bundesliga, Klopp explained that the premium on signing English players had prohibited any potential of a deal.

According to Klopp’s comments to the Mirror, buying English players is a wise move since Sancho would never be available to us.

“We are not deaf; we noticed him, liked him, and then wondered, ‘Can we get him?'” No. due to the fact that English clubs don’t sell to other English clubs. I’m not entirely sure why they don’t do it, but they don’t. They may now travel to Germany, which has a fantastic league.

Sancho would be a fantastic addition, but Klopp told Bild a year later that he did not anticipate a transaction to be completed.

“The red shirt (of Liverpool) would suit very well,” he remarked. This season, I don’t believe such a transfer will be feasible. Sancho is a really fascinating player. I, however, would be the most shocked if he were to visit Liverpool.

In 2021, Klopp again downplayed the likelihood of a deal while emphasizing the financial effects of the Covid epidemic. I hear a lot about big-money movements, but I don’t know if Kylian Mbappe, (Erling) Haaland, or Sancho will be among them.

Because the football world is still not in the same place as it was previously, I do not anticipate that occurring this summer.

After a challenging start to life at Old Trafford, Klopp defended the winger before meeting Sancho and United in October 2021.

Jadon Sancho is a top-tier athlete. Certainly,” Klopp said. He possesses all the qualities necessary to one day rank among the finest players in the world.

He’s still very young, but that’s how it is. Evidently, people were gushing about him in Dortmund. Correctly so.

I watched a number of games where he played really well, said Klopp. Particularly where you are, that is a typical circumstance. I’m not, but you are; you get impatient quite easily. Remember the possibilities United have for him.

Jadon can certainly play different positions, but there is no room left…To be honest, as a manager, you want to have that issue. Jadon’s situation will be alright, preferably not on Sunday.
