Liverpool believes that 18-year-old Mo Salah is well-prepared to face Wolves and is considered “great.”
Stefan Bajcetic, who played for Spain’s Under-21 team before suffering an adductor injury in March, is expected to make his debut for Jurgen Klopp’s team on Friday, according to Liverpool.
Bajcetic was probably going to start against the Galacticos, but he was powerless to stop the 1-0 loss. The teenager has already earned Klopp’s faith by starting the first leg of their Round of 16 match at Anfield. Last season, the gem from Vigo quickly rose to a prominent position on Merseyside.
Bajcetic, according to Liverpool, is prepared to face Wolves.
With Liverpool’s midfield decimated by injury issues, Bajcetic received a surprising role from Klopp starting in January. Prior to the new year, the Reds manager only occasionally used the midfielder. Of his 11 Premier League games, six were starts for Bajcetic, eight of which were in 2023.
But in March, Bajcetic would experience a stress reaction in his adductor, which would ruin his season. The former Celta Vigo prospect would not rejoin Klopp’s squad until August. But thus far this term, Bajcetic has not logged a single minute in his name.
After playing for Spain’s Under-21 team against Malta, Bajcetic put himself in line to play when Liverpool go to Wolves. The kid participated in last Saturday’s 6-0 victory for the junior Roja team as a second-half substitution. He made his junior team debut at the same time.
Klopp will be hoping that Bajcetic can revert to the form that enthralled Salah last season. He’s a wonderful player and person who constantly works hard, the forward told Sky Sports in February. He has perhaps been our finest player ever since he joined the team. I wish he could maintain his assurance.
