In light of interest from Liverpool and Manchester United, Romano presents the most recent information on…

Giorgio Scalvini, a young player for Atalanta, is reportedly being pursued by “two important English clubs,” including Liverpool and Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano.

After being a regular last season, the Italian defender has made 10 appearances in all competitions so far this year.

Some of the top clubs in Europe have taken notice of his entry onto the senior scene, and Romano has disclosed that Premier League teams are starting to scout him.

“Many of you have been asking me about Italian talents, and today I wanted to mention Giorgio Scalvini,” the transfer specialist wrote on his YouTube channel.

He is one of the most gifted center backs in Italy and excels for Atalanta. He can play in either a three- or four-man back line.

What I can say is that prestigious teams in Europe are sending scouts to keep an eye on Scalvini. Two significant English teams, according to what I’ve heard, have been there [at Atalanta games] during the past three to four weeks to keep an eye on Scalvini.

“At the moment, I’m prohibited from disclosing the identities of the clubs, but I’ll let you know as soon as I learn more. There is a great deal of interest in Scalvini.

He is currently regarded as one of the most gifted Italian players and is excelling for Atalanta. Keep a watch on him, as Premier League teams are always changing.

Man Utd and Liverpool are both interested.

In September, 90min reported that Scalvini was one of many players being observed when Liverpool and Manchester United scouts saw Italy defeat Ukraine 2-1 in a Euro 2024 qualifying match

Due to their pursuit of his former Atalanta teammate Rasmus Hojlund, Manchester United is said to be aware of the Italian and have been pleased by the 19-year-old.

In addition, Liverpool is keeping an eye on Scalvini as Jurgen Klopp plans to rebuild the defense in 2024.

Scalvini has a deal with the Bergamo club through the year 2027, but it’s been rumoured that both Liverpool and Manchester United are putting up proposals in anticipation of a bidding battle in January.
