According to Fabrizio Romano, Bruno Guimaraes is close to signing a new contract with Newcastle, but Liverpool are still keeping an eye on him.

Guimaraes, who has made 64 appearances for the club and has 11 goals and 7 assists, is close to signing a new contract, but clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea are still interested in signing him.

Romano has publicly stated that a verbal deal has since been reached. All sides have achieved a verbal agreement, which is now scheduled to be signed, most likely within the next 10 days. It’s official: Bruno will extend his contract at Newcastle, Romano informed Caught Offside.
The contract will be in effect until 2028, making it a five-year agreement with a salary that is significantly more than his present one.
