Leicester City owner visits club’s training ground ahead of ‘important’ Leeds clash in order to…

Leicester City’s season-opening record-breaking start has been dubbed “the best feeling in the world” by Conor Coady.

The Foxes had the finest start in the championship’s history as they ruled the competition at the top of the standings after just 14 games, lying 14 points ahead of third.

Leicester leads the Championship and are playing at a comfortable lead.Amazingly, Enzo Maresca’s team has won every game this season but for one, including their past nine games in a row. They have also scored the joint-most goals and given up the fewest goals.

And Cody, who joined the team in the summer after leaving the Wolves, is savoring every moment.

The defender opened up on what it’s like to win every week ahead of Leicester’s big matchup with Leeds tonight.

“There’s no better feeling than doing that, first and foremost,” he stated on talkSPORT.

It’s what we want to be doing as humans and as football players.

“You want to win every game, and a few of us are coming off relatively unspectacular seasons last year.

However, we live for the thrill of really winning games since it is such an amazing sensation.

It’s the most wonderful sensation ever. You can talk to your wife and children when you get home!

Coady is obsessed with that sensation of victory.

“It feels great that we are winning games, but there is still a long way to go.”

Coady is aware that hardly many teams have gone through relegation from the Premier League with such ease in the past.

Although the Championship is renowned for being an incredibly difficult league to escape, it appears Leicester may have found a solution.

Although they have performed exceptionally well on the field, their real strength is off the field, where owner Aiyawatt “Top” Srivhaddhanaprabha has made the team feel like a family.

“I have never seen a club as in one direction as this club is,” Coady remarked, “from the owner to the management staff, to the coaches, to the players, to the kitchen staff, to the kitman.”

“The proprietor himself is amazing. Though I’m sure we’ve all heard tales about him, I’ve never witnessed anything comparable to what he’s like with the boys.

“He attends the game, watches the workout, and enters the changing room to give everyone hugs.”

Owner Khun Top has a close relationship with the Leicester players and staff.

“With the guys who have spent most of their careers here, I joke about a little bit and tell them you don’t really understand what goes on at other teams because you’ve got it so good here!

To be honest, the vibe that the owner cultivates with each and every one of us is quite amazing.

“It’s wonderful, and I think the owner does it brilliantly. the sense of unity and family that he fosters in everyone.

“I recall the gaffer telling us we were going to stay here [the training facility] for a week to help us all feel together the first week we arrived.

He hosted dinners, an Argentinean BBQ, and musical performances!

“Since I’ve never experienced it, I thought, ‘This is serious, this is really good.'”

The guys said, “This is normal,” but that’s not how things work at other clubs and it’s not normal.

During the offseason, Maresca had the players live on the training facility.

And for Leicester, that might make all the difference.

Even if they might eventually face off on the field, no other team can create the same bond between their staff and players as they can.

Some people think the Foxes have already reestablished themselves in the Premier League because of their incredible start to the season.

But Coady is aware that unexpected things can happen in the championship, so his team cannot get ahead of themselves.

“It’s foolish to plan that far ahead,” he declared. However, I do believe Leicester needs to be present.

The truth is that we aren’t, and it is our responsibility as staff and players to restore it to where it should be.

“Looking at the present and aiming to exit the championship as soon as possible is the most important thing.”
