Speaking on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday Show (04:39pm), the pundit raved about the Colombian international as he beat his man before guiding a composed finish past the hosts’ keeper for the Whites’ fourth goal in their 4-3 victory at Portman Road.
He said the touch and finish from the 24-year-old, who has been linked with a move away from Elland Road this summer, was “magnificent” as helped earn his side an important three points.
“Sinisterra’s pace and touch was magnificent just inside the box down the left-hand side,” said Dawson. “He takes a touch and you know he wants to use his right foot, he opens his body and he just puts it past the keeper.”
Bodes well
An in-form Sinisterra bodes well for Leeds as he has the quality to unlock defences and be a very good player in the Championship for the club.
It’s no surprise to see that Dawson was impressed by the winger as it was a brilliant piece of skill to beat his man and calmly slot the ball home.
It also proved to be a decisive goal for the Whites as it put them two goals ahead in the 75th minute before Ipswich pulled one back in injury time to make the last few minutes a little bit nervy.
After the Colombian has been linked with a move away from Elland Road, Daniel Farke will be delighted to have him back on the pitch and performing for his side.
He will be hoping to keep hold of the winger heading into the final few days of the transfer window as he could play a key role in helping the club push for a promotion place this season.
