News Update: Luis Sinisterra faith has been laid before him…

Leeds United are still not fully sure that midfielder Luis Sinisterra will remain at Elland Road beyond the transfer window closing, according to Pipe Sierra.

On Thursday, August 31st, the Win Sports TV reporter tweeted that a number of clubs have recently expressed interest.

In the wake of Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League last season, Sinisterra is rumored to be eager to find a transfer out of West Yorkshire.

“Leeds still haven’t guaranteed the continuity of Luis Sinisterra (24); Several clubs have enquired about his situation recently,” Sierra tweeted.

The Colombian is not interested in participating in the second tier.

“He is an expensive player, so it’s not an easy deal.”

No end

Following their reintegration into the team, Wilfried Gnonto and Sinisterra’s transfer sagas may have seemed to be over to Leeds supporters.

That has not been the case, however, since there are still rumors that Gnonto [Fabrizio Romano] wants to go and that teams are considering a last-ditch bid for Sinisterra [Graham Smyth].

The sagas won’t actually be over until the transfer window shuts, at least not for the time being.

Also outside of Europe, teams have an additional week to conduct business in Saudi Arabia.

Leeds United

Sinisterra was started by Daniel Farke against Ipswich Town last weekend and came on as a substitute in the EFL Cup match against Salford City in the middle of the week.

To be fair to the Colombian, he kept his attention on the task at hand and scored against Ipswich, beginning the process of regaining Leeds’ fan base’s support.

It will be intriguing to watch how exactly United responds if a fair deadline-day offer does come in for the 24-year-old, though.
