Sean Dyche, the manager of Everton, praised Jack Harrison’s performance against Aston Villa on Wednesday as brilliant. Harrison is on loan from Leeds United.

Before the transfer market closed, the 25-year-old winger from Leeds United signed a season-long loan deal with Everton, although he missed the start of the season with a muscle injury.

Harrison, a loan player from Leeds, played 65 minutes for the Toffees on Wednesday against Aston Villa in the EFL Cup.

Dyche was impressed by Harrison’s performance, and the Everton manager lauded the winger for his outstanding showing.

Dyche said that Harrison, who has been out for a considerable amount of time, played at a high level with tactical and technical acumen.

In a news conference, Dyche remarked, “Jack Harrison, I felt, was brilliant. I said as much after the game

It’s not necessary because his technical and tactical performance is as good as it will get, but for someone who hasn’t played much football at all—actual football as in participating in games at this level—his training was minimal for a long time, and I thought he looked really good.

It is unknown if Harrison will be able to start for Everton against the Hatters on Saturday. Everton is scheduled to play Luton Town.
