GOOD NEWS: Leeds United star player returns to training

Stuart Dallas finally returned to Leeds United training on Thursday 21 September, as shared by Phil Hay.

After the Northern Irishman returned to the field at Thorp Arch after missing 18 months of play due to a broken femur, the Athletic journalist broke the big news.

Dallas is reportedly still a few weeks away from playing with the first squad again under Daniel Farke, despite the encouraging development.

Stuart Dallas returned to training today with the entire Leeds United team, the author writes.

After breaking a femur over 18 months ago, it will still be a few weeks before he can play. But that was a significant and constructive step.

Wow.

This is excellent news for everybody involved with the club.

None more so than Dallas himself, who will have been itching to get back into the action from the very day that he knew that it would be a very long absence.

Even though Dallas isn’t yet ready to play, Farke will also be pleased, especially given how well-liked he is among the team. Dallas will only be a good influence around Thorp Arch.

The fact that there are numerous upcoming international breaks—one in each of October and November—along with the upcoming Championship matchups means that he won’t be gone for long.

Leeds plays two games on average per week, so Dallas’ timely comeback and versatility as a left-back and midfielder will be warmly received.

Rotation is key and with Patrick Bamford and Junior Firpo also on the verge of coming back, the squad will be looking even better than it already does very soon.
