The owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, Clark Hunt, Makes One Last Appeal Due to…

Owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, Clark Hunt, Makes One Last Appeal to Vote

The owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, Clark Hunt, is aware that this vote may either cement the Chiefs’ place in Kansas City for many years to come or pave the way for a move.

It seems absurd that the league’s top club, in the midst of a dynasty, would think about moving.

Hunt used the media to emphasize to the public that the Chiefs do not want to see taxes raised; rather, they want to see the current sales tax extended at the same rate.

Given that $200 million will be returned to the county, Hunt thinks the new deal would benefit both taxpayers and fans.

The cornerstone for preserving Arrowhead Stadium and making sure it stays among the best venues in the NFL is a yes vote on April 2, according to Hunt.

In the last ten years, numerous NFL teams have either built new stadiums or moved. In that same period, the Chiefs have made a commitment to Jackson County, won several titles, and established Arrowhead as the venue for the world’s biggest event—the FIFA World Cup 2026. We hope you are as prepared as we are to continue our collaboration.

Mark Donovan, the president, said the group will consider all possibilities.

Mark Donovan, the president of the Kansas City Chiefs, also offered his thoughts on a potential move, noting to the media lately that there’s no assurance the franchise will remain in Kansas City.

Donovan stated, “I just know that we, the Chiefs, have to look at all of our possibilities.”

There will be plenty of clarification on this bizarre tale on Tuesday. All of this relocation-related silliness will end if they win the vote; however, if they lose, there will be viable options for the Chiefs to relocate outside of Kansas City.
