No one is happier than Taylor Swift, who was named TIME magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year, than her new best friend, Brittany Mahomes. The quarterback’s wife, Patrick Mahomes’, did not wait to express her happiness about Swift’s achievement on social media.
The singer has become close to Brittany ever since she started her widely reported romance with tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. Both women have frequently enjoyed girls’ evenings out with other celebs and have been spotted in the Arrowhead Stadium boxes.
More recently, when Swift was spotted sporting a coat that was exactly like the one Brittany wore to a Chiefs game the previous year, online users conjectured that she was even stealing clothing from Mahomes.
Nevertheless, when Mahomes went to Swift’s X account to “like” the three covers that TIME had devoted to her as its Person of the Year, all these tokens of friendship took on a whole new significance.

In the third, the singer’s face is close-up while wearing casual attire that is more suited for the winter. Thus far, the post has received 2,900 comments and 78,000 likes.

The “Bad Blood” singer discussed a few things in her interview with TIME, including her recent football discovery. On social media, the NFL and the Chiefs both highlighted the confession extensively.
For the first time, she also discussed her relationship with Kelce in public, characterizing them as merely two individuals encouraging one another in their own endeavors.
