The road to the playoffs has been shaky for the Cincinnati Bengals (8-7) and the Kansas City Chiefs (9-6), but they’ll look to solidify their spot in an AFC Championship Game rematch against each other.
Cincinnati entered Week 16 with a playoff spot, but an embarrassing loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers has the Bengals now on the outside looking in. The return of Ja’Marr Chase seems necessary for Cincinnati if it wants to make the playoffs, and Jake Browning will need to play mistake-free football this time around.
What a shock it was in Kansas City on Christmas. The Las Vegas Raiders stunned the defending Super Bowl champions to prevent the Chiefs from obtaining the No. 1 seed. It’s now been three losses in the past four games for Kansas City, and there are questions of whether the Chiefs can defend their Super Bowl title.
