For the Wolverhampton Wanderers’ EFL Cup third-round match at Ipswich Town on Tuesday, head coach Gary O’Neil has made a total of 10 changes.
With the exception of Hwang Hee-chan, who played only 45 minutes at Kenilworth Road, O’Neil has chosen to change every member of the previous starting lineup for the match at Portman Road, which is scheduled only three days after a 1-1 draw at Luton Town and four days before hosting the Premier League champions Manchester City.
The team is led by backup goalkeeper Daniel Bentley, while Matt Doherty is expected to play on the right side of a back three.
Sasa Kalajdzic is given the opportunity to start in attack, Boubacar Traore makes a rare appearance in the middle of the field, and Pablo Sarabia is expected to play behind the front two in a creative capacity.
Enso Gonzalez, another newcomer, is chosen among the replacements, along with Nathan Fraser, who excelled against Blackpool in the previous round, and Joe Hodge, who just overcame a hamstring injury.
In the meanwhile, Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna has made a complete lineup change after his team defeated Blackburn Rovers last weekend, giving them their seventh victory in their past eight Championship games.
Hladky, Ball, Edmundson, Baggott, Williams, Evans, Taylor, Jackson, Harness, Hutchinson, and Ladapo are some of the players for Ipswich Town.
Slicker, Donacien, Woolfenden, Humphreys, Burns, Luongo, Aluko, Chaplin, and Hirst are the substitutes.
