A player at Ipswich Town has won two Carabao Cup awards.

In honor of his efforts in helping the Tractor Boys secure a spot in Round Four of the competition, the midfielder made a double swoop for the prizes.

To proceed, Kieran McKenna’s team had to defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers of the Premier League from behind. Ipswich fell behind 2-0 inside the first 15 minutes and had work to do at Portman Road, but McKenna’s team fought back.

And by the time the halftime siren rang, they had gotten things back to even, taking a 2-2 lead into the break.

When Taylor, one of the summer signings for the recently promoted Championship Club, gave the hosts the lead for the first time that evening, the comeback was complete.

The 25-year-old launched a powerful attempt from a distance that ended up being the game-winning goal and advanced Ipswich to the next round.

“I do like to shoot from that sort of range and will always back myself in those situations, so thankfully it flew into the top corner,” Taylor said of the trophy-winning stroke.”I was definitely thrilled to score a goal of that kind, but what’s more significant is that it enabled the team to win the match and advance to the next round.

I’m thrilled to have received these accolades as a result of the team’s excellent performance, which included a comeback from a 2-0 deficit.
