Speaking of Sheffield Wednesday, their re-entry into the Championship has gone more smoothly than Ipswich’s has. Last night’s 3-0 loss to Sunderland at home came after owner Dejphon Chansiri, enraged by fan criticism, declared he would no longer invest money in the team. They now have two points after nine games.

Even our avian neighbors over the border have had a rough few days. Last weekend’s 6-2 demolition at Plymouth was followed by midweek’s Carabao Cup loss to Fulham. Can they win this afternoon’s game versus Birmingham?
