Brandon Williams scores Ipswich Town’s equalizer in the 87th minute (video).

The Manchester United defender Brandon Williams agreed to a season-long loan deal with Ipswich Town earlier this summer in order to reconcile with former Reds coach Kieran McKenna.

Williams is one of a number of former United players that want to elevate Ipswich. Success in the second tier has Ipswich pursuing promotion to the Premier League.

Ipswich has won seven of its first nine games while drawing two, losing one, and losing one. McKenna’s team is ranked below Leicester by goal differential.

They appeared to be headed for their second loss of the year earlier this weekend against Huddersfield, but Williams, who was added as a substitute in the second half, salvaged them with an equalizer.
