Fabrizio Romano claims that Everton is interested in West Brom teenager Tom Fellows and that a summer free move could be in the works.
On January 10, the Italian journalist tweeted that potential new owners of the Toffees, 777 Partners, “like” the 20-year-old and are thinking about signing him before loaning him back out.The Baggies forward has been “excellent” thus far this season in the Championship, but his contract at The Hawthorns is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Romano stated: “Talent Tom Fellows, who was born in 2003, is being watched by Everton at WBA for a possible summer transfer, as his contract expires in June.
He not only scored his first goal in the FA Cup, but he has been outstanding for the WBA this season. The player is well-liked by 777 Partners, who may sign and then loan Fellows.
Self-assurance?
Given Fellows’ versatility and possible lack of transfer fees, it should come as no surprise that Everton is interested in signing him.
It is apparent that 777 Partners is considering signing him as a potential player at the end of the season, but this is obviously dependent on whether the Americans succeed in completing their takeover.
