Everton midfielder Onana on his way back, says Dyche
Amadou Onana, a midfielder for Everton, could be able to play in the upcoming days.
The all-action star was not present for last Saturday’s 1-1 draw between the team and Brighton.
Onana, though, has overcome a calf issue, and manager Sean Dyche also discussed Seamus Coleman’s fitness.
Dyche stated of Onana: “I believe he ought to be. He has handled that well, but as I mentioned, they have been on the grass. We will see how that responds tomorrow.
“He performed admirably in completing the games he played. Hopefully, we have handled that nicely with him too, and things have subsided.”
“It is important with these games [with U21s], we want to stimulate the players to get back to full fitness, full sharpness,” he continued speaking about Coleman. We felt they could learn something from the game, especially Seamus, since the games program can be awkward when it comes to scheduling games.
He is doing well, but he is still working his way back to full fitness. He’s put a lot of effort into getting back to real fitness levels.
“He’s desperate to get back involved and be around it as you can imagine. That helps because he is been great since returning to the group.
