Newcastle is also interested in the 19-year-old “sensation” who Everton is expecting to sign in January.

To sign Adam Wharton in January, Everton is getting ready to make a move.

Journalist Alan Nixon claims that a number of teams are interested in signing Blackburn Rovers midfielder Adam Wharton in the forthcoming January transfer window, including Everton.

The 19-year-old is also coveted by Brighton, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle United. The high demand for Wharton is not unexpected. The young star, who has previously been called a “sensation,” has been in superb form this year and has cemented his place as a mainstay in the center of the park for Rovers.

It will be difficult for Everton to complete a deal given the intense competition for the player’s signing. Wharton would provide further talent to the team, which would be a big advantage for the Toffees if he moved to Goodison Park.

Sean Dyche is aware of the few choices he has in the middle of the field. The Everton middle of the field is already understaffed, and Idrissa Gueye is much past his prime.

The England under-19 international might be a member of the club’s next wave of players, who will strive to get Everton back into the running for European qualifying rather than perpetually fighting to stay in the Premier League.
