A look at who could be missing for Liverpool when they return to Premier League action against Merseyside rivals Everton at Anfield on October 21
Liverpool will go into the international break on the back of a 2-2 draw at Brighton & Hove Albion.
Mohamed Salah scored two quickfire goals before half-time to put Liverpool in front after some disastrous defending had allowed Simon Adingra to open the scoring. But further poor play at the back led to the Seagulls equalising through Lewis Dunk.
While not happy with the way Brighton’s goals came about, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp had no complaints with the final outcome. He said: “I think it is clear in the second half we should have scored and made it 3-1. There were one or two really good opportunities but because we didn’t score there we keep the game open. And in this area with the free-kick happens, we produced too many set-pieces [for Brighton].
“For the goal, I saw that back and if one of our boys touches it it’s an own goal, it was that good a set-piece. Then Dunk is there and he can score from there, so it was intense for both teams. I think it is the right result in the end.”
