Welcome to our LIVE Everton transfer blog for Wednesday, October 4. Good morning.
If the Toffees suffer penalties at a crucial meeting this month, three teams want to sue, but the potential Everton owners, 777 Partners, have not heard from them.
Ahead of the January transfer season, Manchester City and Manchester United are apparently both interested in Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite. Hugo Ekitike, who was linked with the Blues throughout the summer, reportedly has no future at Paris Saint-Germain, according to a source from France.

Hugo Ekitike is waiting for a promotion.
Hugo Ekitike, a forgotten Paris Saint-Germain striker who has slipped behind recent additions Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos in the team’s pecking order, has been linked to a number of European teams, including Everton.
It’s encouraging news for those of you Blues who would want further reinforcements as soon as possible as Fabrizio Romano has provided a time range for when his transfer would probably happen. According to the reporter, the striker will be permitted to depart Paris in January; it will then be up to Everton to decide whether to pursue this desire.
