More importantly, Toffees supporters will be greatly relieved by Myers’ update, as they have been eagerly anticipating Moshiri’s unavoidable exit from Goodison Park.
Since taking over the management of the recent Bill Kenwright exit drama, the controversy surrounding Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov, and a number of other issues, including the club’s troubling financial state behind the scenes, the majority shareholder of Everton has found himself in hot water with the entire football team on multiple occasions.
Moshiri remains a contentious figure despite both Josh Wander and himself providing “no meaningful answers” in their most recent comments regarding the takeover scenario at Goodison Park.

The Esk once more questioned whether 777 Partners are the best candidates to lead the Toffees in a post on his personal Twitter account on October 16.
It follows Moshiri’s affirmation of the American investment fund’s backing in a Sky Sports interview [October 15], in which Wander supported 777’s management of other teams in its portfolio.
The Esk wrote: “The latest remarks from Moshiri and Josh Wander don’t really address why 777 is the best potential buyer for Everton, why their flat multi-club structure works well for Everton, or how they supply the money and managerial resources that #EFC has desperately needed due to years of mismanagement.”
It’s evident that Everton supporters would prefer nothing more than to see Moshiri go, even though the takeover situation is raising more questions than it is answers about 777 Partners’ suitability as new owners at Goodison Park and their recent handling of several other clubs in their portfolio.
Serious doubts remain concerning 777’s funding source and the precise manner in which they will support both the day-to-day operations of the team and the financing of transfer transactions.
Although the Premier League has the option to reject the proposal, there is growing evidence that this buyout will proceed, and a sizable segment of the Everton supporters will now be eagerly awaiting Moshiri’s permanent departure from Goodison Park.
