BREAKING NEWS: Reaction as Everton verdict has been sheared by Andy Gray

The Toffees are currently in 18th place in the Premier League, trailing just newly promoted Luton Town and Burnley, who have both played one fewer game than Dyche’s squad. Despite this, they have only scored twice in their first four games.

In the hopes that the Portuguese striker would score enough goals to keep the Toffees in the Premier League, Beto was brought into Everton’s front line during the transfer window. However, Gray, a former Goodison forward, doubts that Dyche’s squad will score enough goals.

In an interview with the Daily Mail on September 10, he continued, “I’m shocked, concerned, whatever adjective you want to use. Everton is currently making up for years of subpar leadership. Since it is obvious that Dyche, the former Burnley manager, has limited options at Goodison in terms of bolstering his squad with talent, there doesn’t seem to be much of a desire on the side of anyone linked with Everton for him to leave so early in the season.

Since Gray and Richard Keys were the two analysts who felt Frank Lampard would be a better fit for Chelsea than Julian Naglesmann, their dismissal of Potter shouldn’t come as a surprise. Gray is an admirer of the traditional methods that Dyche uses at Everton.

Football legend and current manager of Chelsea and Brighton. Despite his failure at Stamford Bridge, he has demonstrated that he was a success in the Premier League; but, at the moment, when Everton appears to be once again in danger of relegation, he is not what they need.

Everton need not play very technical football. If any manager has done it before while dealing with little resources, it was Sean Dyche at Burnley. They must find a way to stay in the Premier League.

The Toffees should have enough points to avoid the drop and allay Gray’s fears because their performances so far this season have merited more points than they have already earned.
