Abdoulaye Doucoure and Idrissa Gana Gueye come into the Everton XI to face Brighton & Hove Albion as the

two changes from Wednesday night’s 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Burnley.

Doucoure, who inked a one-year contract extension with the team on Friday, takes the place of Arnaut Danjuma. Gana and James Garner will partner Doucoure in midfield, while Amadou Onana is not included in the matchday squad because of a minor calf injury.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will once again lead Everton’s attack, flanked by Jack Harrison and Dwight McNeil. James Tarkowski, the starting goalkeeper, Jarrad Branthwaite, Ashley Young, the right back, and Vitalii Mykolenko, who lines up on the left side of the back four, form the starting defense.
