One of the people wishing the former defender well on his retirement journey was Gueye, a standout player for Everton now on the team.
Most of Jagielka’s appearances in English football came for the Toffees during his illustrious and lengthy career.
The central defender began his career with Sheffield United and played over 300 games for the Goodison Park team between 2007 and 2019. During the midfielder’s initial stint with the Merseyside team, he played alongside Gueye there.
