FOUR MORE FUTURES ON JAN 17The Los Angeles Rams signed four more players on Wednesday in addition to the ten players they signed to futures contracts on Tuesday.
Miller Forristall and Nikola Kalinic, two tight ends, were among those two new additions.
Throughout his six NFL appearances, Forristall has only received one target.
Additionally, L.A. signed wide receiver Xavier Smith and guard Grant Miller to reserve/future contracts.
FUTURES SIGNED JAN 16The Los Angeles Rams have secured their practice squad players for the off-season by signing ten players to futures contracts after their Sunday loss to the Detroit Lions.
Logan Bruss, a former third-round draft pick who the Rams discarded at the end of August and then added to the practice squad, is the group’s star player.
Bruss spent the majority of his NCAA career at right tackle, so Los Angeles tried to make things work for him during OTAs, but he was not able to leave a lasting impact.
The final nail in Bruss’ coffin came from his terrible preseason, in which Pro Football Focus gave him an overall grade of just 47.5, ranking him sixth lowest among Los Angeles’ offensive players.
Bruss was re-added to the practice squad and played with them for the whole season once he passed waivers.
The Rams have signed the following players to future contracts; you can see the whole list below:
Logan Bruns
Arcuri, A.J.
Durden Cory
Olakunle English Fatukasi Tanner
Michael McAllister
McCutcheon, Cameron
Thomas Zachary
VanValkenburg Zach
Winn, the dressmaker
RAMS TRAVEL DELAYED JAN 15 AFTER LOSS IN PLAYOFFSThe sad 24-23 loss suffered by the Los Angeles Rams against the Detroit Lions on Sunday night in the wildcard round only got worse in the hours that followed.
The Rams’ plane finally landed in Los Angeles, just before 9 a.m. PST, more than 12 hours after they were eliminated from the playoffs, according to NFL Network.
The Rams struggled with “plane troubles and hours and hours of delays,” which hindered their progress and prolonged the already agonizingly long night.
Still, the Rams have returned home safely and can now leave their nightmares from Detroit in the past.
January 9 MEMBERS DESIRE MORRIS?It should come as no surprise that Los Angeles Rams coach Raheem Morris is being actively sought after for numerous positions throughout the league, as he is one of the most well-respected defensive coordinators in the modern NFL.
Since those positions became available, Morris has already been asked by the Panthers and Commanders, and now there is still another.
This time, playing the Los Angeles Chargers directly across town,
After a very disappointing 5-9 season in which his club fielded one of the worst defenses in the NFL, the Chargers just fired coach Brandon Staley.
Morris did have head coaching experience in the past, but it was only briefly with the Buccaneers and Falcons, where he finished 21-38 in both positions.
Morris will be available for a video interview with the Chargers after the Rams and Lions Wild Card round game concludes. Interviews in person are not allowed until after the Divisional Round of competition.
JANUARY 7: FINAL DATEIn only a few plays, Puka Nacua broke rookie receiving and touchdown records in a season. Now, the Los Angeles Rams are reducing the lead held by the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium.
A touchdown pass from Carson Wentz to Tyler Johnson put the Rams in the end zone and ended a 17-play, 75-yard possession that spanned 10 minutes and 15 seconds.
Wentz’s touchdown pass was his second of the game, and Johnson’s was his first of the year.
The 49ers led 20–13 when Brett Maher, the new kicker for the Rams, missed the extra point.
FIRST JAN: KICKER CUTThe Los Angeles Rams have had trouble kicking lately, and on several instances, it has almost cost them.
And following yet another difficult Sunday, the Rams made the decision to alter, benching kicker Lucas Havrisik, as stated by a team statement.
Havrisik scored 19 of his 22 extra points—two of which he missed on Sunday—and 15 of his 20 field goals with a kick.
December 31st, Williams TDAgainst the New York Giants on Sunday, the Los Angeles Rams continued their winning ways from last week, taking an early lead thanks to a quick touchdown run by Kyren Williams.
Williams saw a lot of action throughout the drive, gaining 33 yards and a touchdown on seven carries in addition to a five-yard gain on one reception. Williams’ touchdown was his tenth of the year.
