This offseason, the Dallas Cowboys have said farewell to more people than they have welcomed, some of them with more grace than others.
One of their losses was center Tyler Biadasz, who joined the Washington Commanders, currently managed by former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn of the Cowboys, after hitting the open market.
He posted a farewell message to Dallas and its supporters on Tuesday on Instagram.
Biadasz wrote, “It’s bittersweet to be leaving the Dallas Cowboys since it is the end of an amazing chapter in my football experience.” “I’ve wanted to be drafted into the NFL since I was a young child, and on April 25, 2020, my dream came true.
I’ve had the honor of working with an incredible team for the past four years, experiencing many memorable events.
In the 2020 NFL Draft, Biadasz was originally selected in the fourth round. Following a quiet 2020 season, he developed into the prototypical average starter for the Cowboys, finishing as the team’s starting center with offense grades of 14, 21, and 13, respectively, according to Pro Football Focus.
Throughout his time at Dallas, Biadasz was reliable and strong, which contributed to the front line’s continuity. In the area of discipline, he demonstrated growth as well, cutting down on his penalties from 11 in 2021 to five in the next two seasons.
He then added, “Even though we might not have fulfilled our dream of taking home a title, I am really appreciative of the accomplishments we’ve had and the relationships I’ve built with my coaches and teammates.” “I want to thank the Jones family in particular for making it all possible.”
The Cowboys now have a void in the center of their offensive line that is partially covered by Brock Hoffman, T.J. Bass, and Dakoda Shepley following Biadasz’s departure.
Many, including presumed first-round prospects like Graham Barton, Jackson Powers-Johnson, and Zach Frazier, have responded by making fun of centers in Dallas.
Jones and the Cowboys have mostly ignored free agency, but if they would rather go elsewhere on draft day, they might be planning a temporary change.
The loss of Biadasz has an impact beyond Dallas’ roster, as a stronger divisional opponent appears ready to challenge the Cowboys twice a year while their rebuild takes shape.
Biadasz will probably assist Washington with protections to lessen the load on a rookie quarterback.
I take the knowledge I’ve gained and the happy memories I have of my time spent with the Cowboys with me as I begin the next chapter with the Washington Commanders. Biadasz came to an end.
I’m looking forward to the chances that lie ahead, but the Dallas Cowboys and the supporters who helped me along the way will always have a special place in my heart.

Dallas Cowboys Ex Randy Gregory Leaves 49ers, Signs with Bucs
Randy Gregory, best known for his highs and lows while playing for the Dallas Cowboys, is currently traveling once more.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed former San Francisco 49ers pass rusher Randy Gregory as an unrestricted free agent, according to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report.
Gregory was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round out of Nebraska in 2015, despite the fact that they were aware of his past actions before joining the league.
He was never very successful due to a string of suspensions, but in 2022, he turned down a big-money offer from Dallas in favor of signing a similar $70 million contract with Denver. But he didn’t find much success with the Broncos either, and he was traded to the 49ers last season.
In 16 games with the 49ers and the Broncos last season, he recorded 20 tackles, six tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks, and a pass defense.
Gregory, who is currently 31 years old, has played in 72 games and recorded 22 sacks over his nine-year NFL career.
