On Saturday, QPR fell to Coventry City 3-1 at home.

With just one victory in their last seven Championship games and no victories in their previous four, Gareth Ainsworth’s team has now slid into the bottom three after Saturday’s loss.

After a scoreless first half, QPR lost its composure and gave up three goals in just over 10 minutes, with Kenneth Paal netting a late consolation.

After the weekend’s results, QPR, who have only earned eight points in the Championship this

is currently ranked 22nd after a full season. It was again another underwhelming performance from QPR.

On Twitter, goalkeeper Asmir Begovic added his thoughts on the game, posting the following:

We had a disappointing outcome today. Lots of room for improvement in the upcoming games. Our supporters have been wonderful as usual. We continue.

Begovic joined QPR as a free agent in the summer and has since participated in every Championship game for the club, recording two clean sheets.

Although a weak defense in front of him hasn’t helped his cause thus far, the former Chelsea player has received appreciation from QPR supporters.

QPR anticipated this season would be difficult, and so far, that has been the case. There have been encouraging signals, more particularly on the road than at home, so there is still optimism that QPR can finish easily.

The veteran players, such as Begovic, Steve Cook, Jack Colback, and others, will be crucial in helping Ainsworth establish the performances

Although QPR didn’t play particularly poorly on Saturday, they may have been let down by the officials because they were not granted a good penalty claim after Sinclair Armstrong was brought down.

The R’s’ upcoming match against Leeds United at Elland Road on Wednesday looks to be another really challenging one.
